These terms and conditions handle the agreement between Hamerkop Safaris and Tours and you the guests, confirming a safari and considering that you have entirely understood and established the terms and conditions explained below.
The person who implies the receipt of a booking does it on behalf of her/him and persons under their right. That implies they are all be bound by these terms and conditions, as if they had independently prepared the request themselves.
Both Gorilla permit in Uganda for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and
Mgahinga National Park costs USD $600 per person.
A Rwanda gorilla permit for Volcanoes National Park cost USD $1500 and
the Chimpanzee permits (150 US$) are required in order to make the reservation in time and all tours will be booked and confirmed only upon receipt of a 40% deposit of the basic program rate. Payments can be made by
The outstanding balance owed by Hamerkop Safaris’ guests is to be cleared not less than forty-two days (6 weeks) before the date upon which your trip is due to start. If you do not make your deposit payments by the due dates prearranged, then Hamerkop Safaris shall consider you have cancelled the trip. Bookings made within six weeks of the departure time must be paid in full instantly.
Cancellation by Guests
A cancellation that takes place between the day of booking and down payment that takes place within ten days after booking is complementary. If you cancel your trip within one week of the departure, subsequently the cancellation fee is 100%. The cancellation of your booking should be written and signed by the group leader.
The amount of the cancellation fee is calculated according to the time on which Hamerkop Safaris obtain written notice of your desire to cancel and if you cancel the trip twenty-eight days or further prior to the departure day, subsequently the cancellation fee is 60% of the land arrangement plus the costs for gorilla permits and chimpanzee permits.
If you cancel between the twenty-eight and fourteen days prior to the departure day, then the cancellation fee is 75% of the total cost of the booking. Cancellation, because of medical & repatriation insurance is compulsory and it is the client’s responsibility to arrange such insurance.
It is highly recommended that guests besides take out insurance to cover emergency travel and accommodation, lost baggage and any other cover the guests think fit. Apart from compulsory insurance, the decision which insurance cover guest acquires is exclusively the responsibility of the guest.
Termination by Hamerkop Safaris
Hamerkop Safaris perhaps may abandon the trip or whichever some of these; Hamerkop Safaris reserves the right to turn down any person from participating or continuing any tour if, the person concerned behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, hazard or inconvenience to any third party, damage to property or to environments and ecosystems..
For safety reasons if we observe unfavorable weather conditions, problems with national parks or hotels and security considerations and further safety concerns as improper and that cannot logically be overcome.
If we cancel the whole of the trip, we shall utilize our finest deeds to alternative arrangements if conditions permit on a similarly suitable day, or provide a refund to you of the cost to us of the trip.
If adjustments you desire to formulate to the booking, signify it is uneconomical or impractical to hold the trip.
As mentioned above, we shall be under no more liability to you for cancellation of the trip. Owing to reasons beyond our control, an event is unable to take place due to (but exclusive of restriction); closure of premises, to end the operation, a change in supplier management, Hamerkop Safaris shall provide you and your group with an alternative event and if this does not prove possible, we shall refund to you the cost of the trip.
Adjustment in prices may occur due to any increase in airline tariffs, fuel costs, game reserve fees, or fluctuation of exchange rates. Hamerkop Safaris reserves the right to re-cost the prices and raise a supplement. Should any clients refuse to accept and pay such supplement, Hamerkop Safaris reserves the right to cancel the tour and retain full payment. The company will however make every effort to minimize any increases.
